MARAGILD was born on the beaches of Alabama this past summer, when writer and creator Amanda Gibson picked up a few shells and bones and imagined them gleaming in gold.

With her deep family roots on Fort Morgan and a lifelong fascination with marine biology, what began as a creative experiment for Amanda has become a coastal jewelry line celebrating and protecting the wild beauty of the Gulf.

Each MARAGILD piece is finished in a copper-based, artisan-grade metallic gilding material also known as “liquid gold leaf.”

Because MARAGILD is crafted from organic, foraged materials, each piece is inherently delicate. To ensure longevity, please handle with care.

To preserve your piece:

• Avoid swimming or showering in your jewelry.

• Avoid exposure to perfumes, lotions, and other chemicals.

• Store in its original pouch when not wearing.

With time, subtle color variation or patina may appear—this is normal for gilded natural materials.
