About MARAGILD

MARAGILD was born on the beaches of Alabama in the summer of 2025, when writer and creator Amanda Gibson picked up a few shells and bones and imagined them gleaming in gold.

With her deep family roots on Fort Morgan and a lifelong fascination with marine biology, what began as a creative experiment has become a coastal jewelry line celebrating and protecting the wild beauty of the Gulf.

MARAGILD offers pieces that feel like artifact rather than accessory—talismans of strength, story, and empowerment for all who wear them.

Each piece is foraged, crafted, and gilded by hand, and a portion of every sale supports Alabama coastal conservation nonprofits.
